What you don't know about Suzanne...

Q. What do you like to do when you’re not working?
A. Outside of work I enjoy fine-tuning the art of being a Woodbury soccer mom, enjoying my “me time” when my husband is fishing his weekly walleye league, keeping up with technology so I can snoop on my children when they get mobile phones, petting my yellow lab – Fred – incessantly since he won’t allow me to stop, continuously considering if I should scrap my career and go into stand-up comedy, and relishing everyday of this full life I’ve been given.

Q. What is the last you read?
A. Radical Candor by Kim Scott. If you’re a leader of people and are looking to improve the quality your relationships at work, this is the book you should read.

Q. What is the best professional advice you’ve ever been given?
A. There is a symbiotic relationship between data and intuition. Don’t let it get out of balance.

Q. What is your favorite restaurant or food?
A. Italian, by and far, Italian. Who doesn’t like pasta and red wine?

Q. What is something most people don’t know about you?
A. My maiden name is Noll. If you are a Pittsburgh  Steelers fan, that name rings a bell.  Yes, I’m a distant cousin to long-time Steeler coach Chuck Noll.  While the name got my high school marching band an invitation to perform at Three Rivers Stadium, it never did get me free tickets to a game.

Q. What do you love about event planning?
A. Two big things: I love the different places this job takes me; and I love the variety of volunteers that I have the opportunity to work with. I don’t just do the same event logistics in one geographical location, but get to work with a variety of different people who have different passions in different parts of the world. This allows me to travel and interact with people whose professions vary from cardiology to recognition to people who work on after-school programming for school-aged youth.

Q. What is your favorite city?
A. Nice, France; Las Vegas, Nevada; and San Francisco, California.

Q. What is the best professional advice you ever received?
A. Bring solutions, not problems, to your boss.

Q. What do you like to do when you are not working?
