About the Presenters:
Eric Ewald, CAE, Vice President for Consulting, Ewald Consulting
Eric Ewald joined Ewald Consulting in 1994 and has been a partner since 2000. Ewald earned his BA in Political Science at the University of Minnesota and his MBA from the Carlson School of Management where he was a double major in entrepreneurship and strategic management. He also completed a comprehensive program in non-profit management at the University of Saint Thomas. As part of his work at Ewald Consulting, Ewald serves as an account executive to four of the company's association management clients. His duties include strategic planning, budgeting, membership and volunteer development, lobbying, and event planning.
Ewald earned his Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation in February of 1999. The CAE is a designation awarded by the American Society of Association Executives recognizing competence and achievement in the field of association management.
Bill Monn,Vice President for Client Managment, Ewald Consulting
Bill joined Ewald Consulting in 2005 following 15 years as business manager and publisher of the magazine group at Pillsbury and General Mills. Bill’s responsibilities include contract management for Ewald Consulting’s management clients, assuring appropriate resource and service levels. Bill also works with staff members and at times directly with clients to develop strategic business plans that promote successful and profitable operations for client organizations and Ewald Consulting. Bill originally was on the client side, serving as a founding member and as a past president of an association incorporated by Ewald Consulting. Bill played a leading role in the opening of Ewald Consulting Group’s Chicago office in 2007 and serves as executive director of the Illinois Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. Currently, Bill is the executive director for several Ewald Consulting client organizations.
