Success Story: PSAI Annual Convention & Trade Show Revenue Growth

The Portable Sanitation Association International (PSAI) came to Ewald Consulting as a full-service association management client late in 2021 when the previous executive director retired. The annual convention and trade show has long been the unsurpassed event in the portable sanitation industry. In our first year working with PSAI, we focused on building relationships and listening to sponsors and exhibitors. Using that knowledge, we worked with volunteers to create new sponsorship opportunities that engage trade show attendees, including a hotel key card using the sponsor’s branding.

The Results:

Higher revenue each year (more than doubling from 2022 to 2024), stronger engagement with attendees, and greater sponsor satisfaction! In 2025, we are on track for another significant revenue increase.
