Ewald Consulting recently welcomed Grace Gothers to their events management team as an Event Coordinator. She joined the Ewald team with two years of event management experience, including her time as an Events & Communications Coordinator and Director of PULSE Young Professionals Group for the Greater New Haven (Connecticut) Chamber of Commerce.

Gothers is a recent graduate of Southern Connecticut State University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Event Management and Communications. Throughout her academic career she found opportunities to build and grow her event coordinating experience, serving as a Marketing and Fan Engagement Assistant for Quinnipiac University, an University Assistant in the Department of Recreation, Leisure, and Sport Management where she planned student and alumni events, and as an Event Planning Intern for the Athletics Department for Yale University where she was responsible for coordinating travel, accommodation and activities.

"Grace brings event planning experience from her previous work at the New Haven Chamber of Commerce and several university positions,” saidShannon Pfarr Thompson, Vice President of Events and Professional Development. “We look forward to the ideas, education and energy that she brings to our team."

As an Event coordinator, Gothers serves as a key support role to our Event Managers and their clients. This includes work with sponsors and speakers and the management of small-scale events such as a golf tourney or one-day events.
