Barb began working at Ewald Consulting in 2011 in the Events Department and now serves as the Director of Operations and Member Services, and manages the Ewald Conference Center. Barb has her B.A. in Education; prior to joining Ewald Consulting, she was an elementary school teacher.

Q. What is your favorite city?
A. Chicago.

Q. What is the best professional advice you ever received?
A. Do something you love and figure out a way to get paid for it.

Q. What do you like to do when you are not working?
A. Yoga, rollerblading, baking, going to musicals and live theater events.

Q. What is your favorite restaurant or food?
A. Veggie stir-fry and ice cream.


Jeanne DeMartino

Jeanne DeMartino

Jeanne is a member services specialist at Ewald Consulting, and has been cheerfully answering association members’ questions and finding solutions to concerns since 2005. She previously worked in special education in the Columbia Heights (Minnesota) school district and worked six years with one child with autism. She coaches people in running and race walking in the evenings and weekends.

Q. What is your favorite restaurant or food?
A. I love sushi at Seven in Minneapolis!

Q. What is your favorite city?
A. Lahaina, Maui (Hawaii)

Q. What do you like to do when you are not working?
A. I love to travel with friends and to see my kids and grandkids.

Q. What is something most people don’t know about you?
A. I have coached marathoners and have traveled to Hawaii with my teams 12 times.

Caitlin joined Ewald’s Member Services team in 2018 and brings with them over ten years of customer service experience across many fields. Caitlin earned their BA in Physics from Wells College in upstate New York. In their spare time they’re probably knitting.

Q. What is the last book you read that you would recommend?
A. The Lace Reader by Brunonia Brown.

Q. What is the best professional advice you ever received?
A. “When you know better, do better.”

Q. What is your favorite restaurant or food?
A.Meyvn in Minneapolis has turned into a go-to spot for a quick bite and casual atmosphere and The Sample Room in NE Minneapolis has an old fashioned that is worth the trip.


Kelly Sadler

Kelly has worked in various forms of customer service for over 20 years. She has a BFA with an emphasis in commercial art and illustration, as well as a BS in business and marketing. She is an artist and musician, but also was a small business owner for several years. She has worked in a volunteer capacity for several non-profit organizations, as well as for the family of Kenneth Bae, a former prisoner in North Korea. She presently volunteers for his organization, Nehemiah Global Initiative.

What you don't know about Kelly...

Q. What do you love about your job?
A. I genuinely enjoy problem solving and helping people.

Q. What is your favorite restaurant or food?
A. Thai from Supatra, or Korean from Kbop.

Q. What is the best professional advice you ever received?
A. “Eat your frog”. Essentially, address what you have to do first. Then you can move on to the things you want to do.

Q. What do you like to do when you are not working?
A. I’m an artist by training. When I’m not at work, I am creating. At present I am working on assembling and prepping to publish a figure drawing art book.
