Vision2021 Virtual Conference
Vision 2021 Virtual Conference presented by Ewald Consulting

In 2020, associations across the world have cancelled thousands of in-person conferences and events. The travel and hospitality industry — and nearly every other industry — have been dramatically impacted by COVID-19. The Ewald Consulting team has shifted rapidly to virtual conferences and online offerings this summer, fall and into 2021. We’ve learned valuable lessons that apply to associations of all sizes.

On Tuesday, September 29, Ewald Consulting presents our Vision2021 virtual conference. This free event will showcase the Social27 virtual conference platform as well as feature some of the best and brightest thought leaders on creativity, innovation, diversity and inclusion, and behavioral economics – topics that are reshaping how associations offer value and succeed.

Let’s transform our mindset and business model as we plan for 2021 and whatever the “new normal” will be. Join us September 29 to transform your own vision for 2021.

For nearly 40 years, Ewald Consulting has served hundreds of nonprofit organizations across all sectors to improve industries and advance professions. We plan to help our clients succeed for the next 40 years and beyond.

The Behavioral Economics of COVID-19: Understanding Employee Engagement and Performance in a New Context
Brad Shuck – Associate Professor, University of Louisville
The COVID-19 crisis has reshaped our world of work. Perhaps never before has the value proposition of work been so vulnerable and the need for employee engagement so high. It has become clear that communication, community, and collaboration are emerging economies of work and are impacting everything about leadership, recognition, and performance. This laid back and informal presentation will cover the foundation of behavioral economics and highlight psychological principles that can be applied immediately. Join us and bring your questions and insights to this story-driven, evidence-based look at the behavioral economics — and the new world of work — of a post COVID-19 context.

Diversity & Inclusion: Promoting Radical Engagement in a Changing World
BraVada Garrett-Akinsanya, PhD – Psychologist, Brakins Consulting & Psychological Services
Radical engagement is a revolutionary process based on the development of profoundly different relationships within organizations. It creates a context through which power is shared, bridges are built, and bonds are strengthened. It also requires an intentional, premeditated course of action through which stakeholders challenge themselves (as well as the organizations in which they work) to explore the individual and systemic barriers that lead to disparities. Finally, by implementing far-reaching relationship changes, radical engagement leads individuals and organizations to actualize common goals predicated by trust, authenticity, and choice.
