Ewald Consulting announces addition of Andrea Billadeau to growing Membership Team

Ewald Consulting is happy to welcome Andrea Billadeau to their Membership Team as a Membership Specialist. Billadeau joins Ewald Consulting with over 20 years of experience coordinating records, services and payments. Most recently she served as the Payroll/Accounting Specialist for a local organization where Billadeau managed multiple aspects of payroll, staff coordination and created standards and procedures for training staff.  

 

“Andrea’s experience with data, attention to detail, and skills at process improvement will be a huge asset for our team,” said Vice President of Member Experience Shannon Pfarr Thompson. “We are excited to have Andrea join our team and support the membership recruitment and retention efforts for our clients.” 

 

Billadeau attended the University of Minnesota and is a graduate of the St. Paul Technical College. Alongside her most recent role as a Payroll/Accounting Specialist, Billadeau has served as an Accounts Payable Representative, Accounting Office Manager and a Refund Specialist.   

 

As a Membership Specialist, Billadeau is a key part of the success of the Ewald team. In this position Andrea will work with clients to ensure accurate and timely processing of membership applications, manage member data and communications, analyze data, and provide reports and recommendations to help our clients grow.  

Ewald Consulting welcomes Emily Squyres to Professional Development Team

Ewald Consulting is happy to announce the addition of Emily Squyres to their growing Professional Development team as a Professional Development Specialist. Squyres joins Ewald Consulting with over 10 years of experience coordinating programming, events and education for professional services. Most recently she served as the Education Coordinator for a local association where she managed the professional development offerings of the association including registration, speaker coordinator and certification.  

 

“Emily’s enthusiasm for training, customer service experience and attention to detail are all assets to our department,” said Director of Professional Development Julia Renner. “We are excited to have Emily join our team to help support the development and execution of professional development offerings for our clients.” 

 

Squyres is a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s Communications Program where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. Alongside her most recent role as an Education Coordinator, Squyres has served as an Events & Administrative Coordinator and a Program Officer.  

 

As a Professional Development Specialist, Squyres is a key part of the success of the Ewald team. Alongside conducting Professional Development assessments, she will be handling continuing education credits, certification and certificate programs, learning management systems, mentoring programs, in-person seminars, program accreditation and more for our clients.  

Ewald Consulting welcomes Laura Arens to Events Management Team

Ewald Consulting is excited announce the addition of Laura Arens, to their events management team as an Event Coordinator. Laura recently graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s in Sports and Recreation Management with a Business Studies Concentration and joins the Ewald team with 2 years of event planning experience. 

While earning her degree, Laura served in a variety of roles including as an Event Intern for Vola Gibson Elementary and a Resident Assistant for the University of Iowa. Recently, Laura served as the Symposium Coordinator for the UISRM Symposium where she was responsible for transforming a traditional single day event into a virtual four–day event. She was key in coordinating the volunteer committee and orchestrating speakers for virtual presentations, contributing to the success of the event.  

“Laura brings experience transitioning recent in-person events to virtual and has a lot of passion for the industry,” said Vicki Thein, CMP, Director of Events. “We are excited to have her join our team!“ 

As an Event Coordinator, Laura is a key part of the success of the Ewald events team. She will be primarily providing support to our Event Managers and their clients. This includes work with sponsors and speakers and the management of small-scale events such as a golf tourney or one-day events.
